Beyond Grits Dining Guide

Lexington’s food scene had a reputation problem: most people  pictured fried chicken and a bourbon pour, and stopped there.

 

VisitLEX wanted a dining guide that showed visitors how much more is on the table, from chef-driven kitchens to farm-to-fork spots sourcing from the same bluegrass pastures the horses graze.

 

I wrote the guide to read like a meal with a well-fed friend, with enough local history to make you hungry and enough specifics to tell you exactly what to order when you get there.
